About the Chairman
Hon. Akinola Abiodun Idowu assumed the office of Executive Chairman of Orile Agege Local Government Area in 2025. A seasoned community leader with a distinguished career in public administration, he came to office with a clear mandate: serve the people.
With a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Lagos and executive leadership training both locally and in international governance programmes, Chairman Idowu brings a blend of intellectual rigour and grassroots empathy to his role.
Before his election, he served in various community development capacities, building relationships across all five wards and earning a reputation as a listening leader who turns words into measurable action.
